Brotherhood Winery on the International Scene:
We are honored that our wines are being offered for sale in the Duty Free Shop at JFK Airport, Terminal 4, here in New York. Passengers can purchase our Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay, with a special label for the DFS, along with our own label Cabernet Sauvignon and "The Views of the Hudson" Brotherhood Cabernet wine. Ticketed passengers receive their purchases on-board the plane, allowing them to take with them a New York souvenir.
 
They even get to sample Brotherhood wine (Thursdays, Fridays & Sundays from 4-9pm) at this special tasting bar set up just for us in the Duty Free Shop!
News Flash:
This year's medal winners, from the New York State Fair Commercial Wine Competition, were just announced. Brotherhood, America's Oldest Winery was awarded the following medals:
J. Riesling '05 Silver Medal
Ruby Port NV Silver Medal
Pinot Noir '04 Bronze Medal
Cabernet Sauvignon '03 Bronze Medal
Another News Flash: Brotherhood's Carroll's Mead made a big splash at the New York State Renaissance Fair at Sterling Forest!! If you haven't tried it yet, you should - it's delightful.

At the 2006 Tasters Guild International Wine Competition in Grand Rapids, Michigan, 1,800 wines from 32 states and 18 countries were presented to 35 judges from around the world. Brotherhood's Pinot Noir earned Double Gold Medals!!! In addition, Brotherhood's Riesling and Ruby Port won Silver medals and our Blanc de Blancs Champagne won a Bronze medal. We enter, we win medals. What does this tell you?
Also...
We entered five of our wines in the 2006 Finger Lakes International Wine Competition held on April 1-2 in Rochester, N.Y. and all five were awarded medals! This competition is open to commercial wineries from the U.S., Canada and all other wine-producing countries. Winners were selected from over a thousand entrees by an experienced international group of judges. Brotherhood won a Gold Medal for its 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon, Silver Medal for its 2004 Riesling, and Bronze Medals for its 2004 Pinot Noir, Ruby Port and Blanc de Blancs Champagne.

Robin and Dave's enthusiasm levels were as high as the heat & humidity at this year's Bounty of the Hudson held at Adair Winery in New Paltz. Those of you who attended got to sample our Carpe Diem, Riesling and Pinot Noir, along with wines from 17 other Hudson Valley Wineries. Yes, there are now almost 20 wineries in the Hudson Valley! Napa Valley watch out! You could also taste different foods from local caterers and bring home fresh produce, baked goods and assorted delicacies from the Hudson River Region. Oh, and there's always musical entertainment. Make sure you mark your calendar for the Bounty of the Hudson next year - always the last weekend in July, at a different winery each year!
